ExxonMobil Corp. je nadnárodná spoločnosť so sídlom v americkom štáte Texas. Spoločnosť sa zaoberá ťažbou a spracovaním ropy a plynu, zamestnáva viac ako 80 000 zamestnancov. Aktuálne vodou na mlyn pre ťažiarske spoločnosti je situácia ohľadne rastúcich cien ropy a zemného plynu, kde ceny medziročne rapídne vzrástli. Za nárastom cien je zrušenie blokád v dôsledku pandémie Covid19 a taktiež aj znižovanie investícií do skladísk ropy a plynu. Situácia ohľadne energetických komodít sa môže ešte zdramatizovať v dôsledku toho, že začína vykurovacia sezóna a Rusko plánuje väčšinu plynu ponechať na svojom území. Analytici investičnej banky Goldman Sachs odhadujú nárast cien ropy do konca roka na 90 USD za barel. Práve ďalšie nárasty cien komodít môžu mať za následok rast aj samotných spoločností. ExxonMobil bude 29.10.2021 zverejňovať hospodárske výsledky v rámci ktorých budú aj zverejňovať odhady na ďalší kvartál.
